lyrics
It’s all about a girl who’s walking in the street trying to find a way to flee
The only way for her to live is to escape, find a door, find a gate
She knows her days in here in the city come to an end
And the idea of being freed, freed from the void
Is so liberating but
As she slides her back against the shop windows under her palms, wall after wall
Swallowing her up and sucking her back in
Like a mouth: door after door
Because she feels so small and insignificant she wants out
Going nowhere in the middle of everyone's anonymity
Cos rather than finding herself in the midst of nowhere
She was going nowhere in the middle of everyone...

I will borrow a description from someone-"Le Super Homard are a blend of Broadcast and Stereolab". I think that is an apt description, but this is a fully realized band, not just a sum of parts. This appeared out of nowhere and is an amazingly fresh hot take. The music/vocals are dreamy, beat driven with splashes of sixties psych and lounge. No one is making this kind of music at the moment, and even if they did, they could not make it as great as Le Super Homard circular music
Another stellar effort from the Melbourne producer and singer-songwriter, built around fragmented grooves, warped vocals, and catchy hooks. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 29, 2020
Art-pop that turns a critical eye on the world, as accessible as it is complex; sales benefit the Southern Poverty Law Center. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 24, 2018
